The Board of Directors has changed over the years as has your Executive Director, but one thing remained the same—our objectives. As our Articles of Incorporation state, the Spencer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s purpose is:
(1) Preserving the competitive enterprise system of business
(2) Promoting business, community growth and development
(3) To advance the best interest of all persons within the area, and to advance the commercial, financial, industrial, civic, agricultural and educational interest of area citizens.
These were the guidelines set for us 10 years ago and these are the same goals we will strive for today and for years to come.
